Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Paris
Pick-up from Paris airport and transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon to settle in.
Day 2 — Paris, Versailles and Montmartre
7:45 AM — Departure for the Palace of Versailles (entry tickets not included).
11:30 AM — Return to Paris. Visit the Montmartre artistic quarter and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
3:00 PM — 2.5-hour panoramic tour with a local guide: Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens, Les Invalides, Champ-de-Mars, the Eiffel Tower, and the banks of the Seine.
Day 3 — Eiffel Tower and Seine river cruise
8:30 AM — Departure to the Eiffel Tower and ascent to the 2nd floor (ticket included).
Then a Seine river cruise of about 1¼ hours to see the landmarks and bridges from the river.
Free time after the tour. Optional cabaret show in the evening (Moulin Rouge / Paradis Latin).
Day 4 — Paris to Beaune to Lyon
8:00 AM — Departure from Paris for Beaune (≈ 310 km).
12:00 PM — Beaune, capital of the Burgundy wine region. Free time for lunch and a walk through the old town.
3:00 PM — Departure for Lyon.
5:30 PM — Arrival in Lyon. Walk through the historic Vieux Lyon district (a UNESCO site).
Day 5 — Lyon to Geneva to Neuchâtel to Zurich
8:00 AM — Departure from Lyon to Geneva (≈ 150 km).
10:30 AM — Geneva, the international city. Visit Place des Nations, Lake Geneva, and the Jet d'Eau fountain.
1:00 PM — Departure for Neuchâtel, a Swiss town on Lake Neuchâtel.
4:00 PM — Continuing on to Zurich.
6:30 PM — Arrival in Zurich and check-in at the hotel.
Day 6 — Zurich and Rapperswil
9:00 AM — Guided tour of Zurich's historic centre with a local.
10:30 AM — Departure for Rapperswil, a charming town on Lake Zurich.
12:30 PM — Free time in Rapperswil for lunch.
3:00 PM — Return to Zurich. Free evening for shopping on Bahnhofstrasse.
Day 7 — Grindelwald and Lucerne
7:30 AM — Departure from Zurich into the Swiss Alps.
10:00 AM — Arrival in Grindelwald, a charming alpine village. Time to explore the village.
1:45 PM — Departure for Lucerne.
3:30 PM — Lucerne. Walk through the picturesque centre, visit to the historic Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and the Lion of Lucerne.
5:30 PM — Return to Zurich.
Day 8 — Farewell Zurich
After breakfast, the trip wraps up. Free time for shopping before the airport transfer.
