Application steps
Choose the right Morocco visa type
Start by identifying the visa category that matches your purpose of travel — Jordanian passport holders need a visa for Morocco; visa-free entry is not available. Most travellers apply for a Tourist Visa (Type C) allowing up to 30 days per entry. Refer to the official Moroccan consular services site for the full list of visa types and the list of countries exempted from visa (Jordan is not currently on the list).
Apply via the official Morocco e-Visa portal
Jordanian citizens are eligible for the Morocco e-Visa, the primary channel since the 2022 launch by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Apply online at the official acces-maroc.ma portal — this is the only authentic government e-Visa channel; avoid third-party aggregator sites. The e-Visa is valid for 180 days from issue, single-entry, and allows a maximum stay of 30 days.
Complete the application form
Inside the acces-maroc.ma portal, create an account and complete the application form online. Make sure your name, passport details, and travel dates exactly match your supporting documents — formal errors are a leading cause of refusal.
Upload required documents
Upload digital copies of:
- Passport bio data page (valid for at least 6 months from arrival, with two blank pages).
- Recent passport-sized photo meeting Moroccan visa specifications.
- Round-trip flight reservation and confirmed hotel booking covering every night of your stay.
- Bank statements for the last 3 months.
- Employment letter and a recent salary certificate.
- Cover letter explaining your purpose of travel.
- Travel insurance covering your stay.
- For business visits: invitation letter from the Moroccan host or company.Pay the embassy fees
Pay the embassy fee online by credit card on the portal. Standard processing is 24 to 72 hours. The fee is non-refundable if the application is refused.
Receive your e-Visa
Once approved, the e-Visa is sent to you by email as a PDF. Print a copy and present it on arrival in Morocco.
Embassy fallback
If you are not eligible for the e-Visa or your application requires in-person handling, contact the Embassy of Morocco in Amman at 1 Al Hareeri Street, 2 Yousef Bin Tashfeen Street to arrange a direct submission. Before you travel, verify the visa data (name, number of entries, validity dates) against your passport and keep copies of your bookings and insurance ready in case of border checks.
