Visa types
Below are the available Oman e-Visa types based on your travel purpose and length of stay:
Tourist Visa — 10 days (single entry)
For tourism, visiting relatives or friends, or attending meetings and conferences. Valid 30 days from issuance, allowing a stay of up to 10 days.
Tourist Visa — 30 days (single entry)
For tourism, visiting relatives or friends, or attending meetings and conferences. Valid 60 days from issuance, allowing a stay of up to 30 days (extendable).

Application steps
Choose how to enter Oman
The Sultanate of Oman offers two routes for visitors:
- Visa-free / on-arrival for over 100 nationalities for stays up to 14 days — confirm if your nationality is on the list using the official Visa Eligibility tool on the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal.
- eVisa applied online for everyone else, or for longer/multiple-entry needs, via the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal.

Use the Visa Eligibility tool to check whether you require an eVisa. Foreign residents in Jordan should also confirm their own eligibility category, which can differ from Jordanian citizens.
Create an account on the eVisa portal
Go to the official Royal Oman Police eVisa portal, create an account by email, and click Apply for a Visa. Choose your visa type:
- 10-day single-entry — around OMR 5.
- 30-day single-entry — around OMR 20.
- 30-day multiple-entry — around OMR 50.Complete the form and upload documents
Inside the application, complete the form with personal details, passport information, and travel plans. Upload digital copies of:
- Passport bio page (PDF or JPG, valid for at least 6 months from arrival).
- Recent passport-sized photo (JPEG, white background).
- Round-trip ticket or hotel reservation.
- Jordanian residency permit if you are a foreign resident.
Wrong file format or oversized images are leading reasons for online refusals.Pay the embassy fees
Pay the embassy fee online by credit card on the portal. There is no third-party service fee in this channel. The fee is non-refundable if the application is refused.
Receive the eVisa
The decision is typically issued within up to 4 days, by email and on your eVisa account, as a PDF. Print a copy and present it on arrival. The visa is electronically linked to your passport — no sticker is affixed.
On arrival in Oman
Present your passport with the printed eVisa to the immigration officer at Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, or any land border. Facial biometrics may be taken; fingerprints may also be captured. Stays follow the duration on the eVisa (10 or 30 days).
