Application steps
Choose how to enter Armenia
Jordanian citizens have two options for travel to Armenia:
- Visa on arrival at Armenian border crossings — the easiest option for spontaneous trips, with stays typically up to 21 days.
- e-Visa applied for in advance via the official Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal, with single or multiple-entry options for 21 or 120 days.Confirm your eligibility on the Armenia visa policy page on mfa.am before travel.
Eligibility check before applying
Use the eligibility check tool on the official e-Visa portal to confirm the visa type available to you and any specific document requirements. Foreign residents in Jordan should also confirm whether their nationality qualifies for e-Visa or visa on arrival.
Create an account on the official e-Visa portal
Go to the official Armenia e-Visa portal, create an account by email, and choose your visa duration:
- 21-day single-entry — around AMD 3,000 (~USD 8).
- 120-day single-entry — around AMD 15,000 (~USD 38).
- 6-month multiple-entry — around AMD 20,000 (~USD 52).
- 1-year multiple-entry — around AMD 40,000 (~USD 103).Complete the application and upload documents
Inside the e-Visa portal, complete the form and upload digital copies of:
- Passport bio data page (valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure).
- Recent passport-sized photo meeting the visa specifications.
- Any documents required by the specific visa category (invitation, business letter, etc.).Pay the fees and submit
Pay the embassy fee online by credit card directly on the portal — there is no third-party service fee in this channel. Save the receipt and reference number for tracking.
Receive the e-Visa
The decision is typically issued within up to 3 business days (counting from the next business day after submission), and arrives by email as a PDF. Print a copy and present it with your passport on arrival in Armenia. Visa policies can change — check mfa.am/en/visa shortly before travel.
At Yerevan border or airport
Whether you arrive with an e-Visa or as a visa-on-arrival applicant, the immigration officer stamps your passport with the entry date and authorised stay. Do not exceed the stamped duration to avoid overstay fines. Stays beyond 90 days may require local police registration as outlined on the MFA visa page.

What is a Schengen visa?
A unified visa that allows entry to 29 European countries within the Schengen area on a single visa, with a stay of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
How long is a Schengen visa valid?
Usually granted short-term (up to 3 months) with single or multiple entries. In some cases it can be issued for longer — up to 5 years.
Can I travel between Schengen countries on a single visa?
Yes, a Schengen visa allows entry to and free travel between all 27 Schengen countries with no extra visa required.
What is the most common reason for refusal?
Weak ties to Jordan, failing to convince the embassy you will return, weak financial standing, or incomplete documents. We help you strengthen your file before you submit.
Does the application require a personal interview?
Usually not — most applications are decided on the documents. In special cases the embassy may request an interview.
